Motivation:

My name is Palesa Mpedi, and I am requesting assistance with a laptop to help me further my education, improve my employability, and grow my small business. I am the director of SixandCo (Pty) Ltd, a digital design agency that provides website development, branding, graphic design, and digital solutions to businesses. My goal is to expand the company, secure more clients, and create employment opportunities in the future. Unfortunately, I currently do not own a laptop, which limits my ability to deliver projects efficiently and take on more advanced work. I have also been accepted to participate in the FNB App Academy, an opportunity that will allow me to gain valuable software development skills. However, the programme requires access to a laptop for coding and practical assignments, and I am unable to participate fully without one. I have been actively looking for employment while simultaneously working to grow my business. A laptop would allow me to complete online training, develop websites and applications, apply for jobs, communicate professionally with clients, and improve my overall productivity. Receiving a donated or refurbished laptop would not only help me complete my training but would also enable me to build a sustainable source of income through my business.
