I am a single mother and sole provider with 13 years of experience as a B-BBEE Specialist. Before COVID-19, I was a partner in an Enterprise & Supplier Development incubator, where I supported numerous black-owned startups with funding, laptops, printers, business coaching, and branding assistance — helping them establish sustainable, compliant businesses. In recent years, I have explored other career paths and also faced retrenchments and toxic work environments. Despite these challenges, my passion for South Africa’s transformation and empowerment agenda remains unwavering. I have now established my own consulting business (as at October 2025) and already secured two clients. However, as a white female-owned startup, access to funding opportunities is extremely limited. My biggest barrier at the moment, to operating fully is the lack of a laptop capable of running key compliance software such as Trax, which is essential for professional service delivery. I am therefore appealing for assistance with a suitable laptop that will allow me to effectively service clients, grow my consulting firm, and continue contributing to meaningful transformation and enterprise development across South Africa.
