I hope this message finds you well. Introduction and Background Ntshole Foundation is a non-profit company whose mission is to empower under-resourced children through innovation and future-focused programs in Coding and Robotics. Our vision is to bridge the opportunity gap, cultivate creativity, and nurture self-sufficiency, ultimately paving the way for a brighter and more inclusive future for all. We are reaching out to kindly request your support through the donation of 30 laptops (new or refurbished) to assist with the expansion of our Coding and Robotics Program, which continues to grow rapidly. The program reaches and impact 2,000 learners across various Section 21 primary schools where we operate. These laptops will play a crucial role in enabling our learners to gain essential digital skills and hands-on experience in technology and innovation. Context and Justification Our Coding and Robotics Program, currently implemented at Boschkop Primary School, aims to equip young learners with essential 21st-century skills that prepare them for a technology-driven future. The program has grown significantly, inspiring learners to think critically, solve problems creatively, and engage with technology in meaningful ways. What makes our program unique is its three key elements that combine innovation, creativity, and real-world application: • Creative Coding: Learners use LEGO building blocks to express themselves through hands-on activities that blend art, drawing, and music therapy, helping them develop emotional intelligence alongside technical skills. • Robotics: Learners engage in building and programming robots, fostering teamwork, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities through interactive, project-based learning. • Agri-Tech: This component introduces learners to the exciting world of agricultural technology, showing them how coding and innovation can make farming more efficient, sustainable, and fun. As the program expands to more Section 21 primary schools, where many learners have limited or no access to ICT resources, access to laptops has become essential. These devices are not just tools for learning—they are gateways for learners to gain vital digital literacy, coding, robotics, and artificial intelligence (AI) skills. Impact of the Donation The donation of 60 laptops will have a transformative impact on Ntshole Foundation’s Coding and Robotics Program, allowing us to expand access to quality technology education and hands-on learning for under-resourced learners. Currently, the program at Boschkop Primary School serves 2,000 learners, supported by only five HP laptops, which were generously donated last year. While these laptops have been instrumental in helping us deliver the program, the demand has now far exceeded the available resources. With so many learners eager to participate, access to devices has become a major challenge, limiting the depth of digital engagement and practical learning opportunities. The additional 60 laptops will be used as follows: 30 laptops will be allocated to Boschkop Primary School to enhance the existing program, ensuring that learners can work in smaller groups and gain hands-on experience in digital literacy, coding, robotics, and AI-based learning. 30 laptops will be allocated to a new Section 21 primary school we will be partnering with in 2026, as part of our commitment to scaling the program and reaching more learners across under-resourced schools. These laptops will not only expand access but also ensure consistent program delivery, better learner engagement, and enhanced skill development. In the long term, the donation will help: • Build a strong foundation in STEM education from an early age. • Prepare learners for future careers in technology and innovation. • Empower schools with sustainable ICT resources that can be used across multiple learning areas. • Contribute to closing the digital divide by giving learners from disadvantaged backgrounds equal access to technology and modern learning tools. Recognition and Visibility for Donors Ntshole Foundation values every contribution made toward empowering learners through technology. We believe in celebrating our partners and ensuring their support is recognised meaningfully and publicly. To acknowledge your generosity, we would like to offer the following recognition opportunities: Brand Visibility: Your organisation’s logo will be featured on all program materials, including learner workbooks, banners, and digital learning content. Social media and Website Acknowledgment: We will share posts of appreciation across our social media platforms and include your logo and mention on the Ntshole Foundation website under our list of key partners. Press and Media Mentions: We will acknowledge your support in press releases and media coverage related to the Coding and Robotics program’s expansion. Certificate of Appreciation: Your organisation will receive a Section 18A certificate in recognition of your contribution to advancing technology education in under-resourced schools. On-site Branding: During school visits, training sessions, and program launches, your support will be acknowledged through signage and event recognition. Sustainability and Accountability Ntshole Foundation is deeply committed to ensuring that all donated resources are well-maintained, responsibly managed, and used for their intended purpose. To guarantee the long-term sustainability of the laptops and the continued success of the Coding and Robotics Program, we have established clear systems for maintenance, safeguarding, and reporting. Maintenance and Safeguarding: All laptops will be securely stored in designated ICT rooms at our office at Hazeldean office park. Access will be managed by project managers to ensure responsible use. Regular technical checks and software updates will be conducted to keep the laptops in good working condition, and learners will receive training on proper handling and care. Monitoring: The use of laptops will be monitored through attendance and usage logs, ensuring that every learner has equitable access. Facilitators will track learning activities and outcomes linked to digital, coding, and robotics sessions. Reporting: Ntshole Foundation will provide regular progress reports highlighting how the laptops are being utilized, the number of learners benefiting, and the overall program impact. Donors will receive quarterly updates and annual summaries, showcasing measurable results and stories of transformation. Through these measures, we aim to uphold accountability and transparency, ensuring that every donated laptop continues to empower learners and contribute to a legacy of innovation and opportunity. Call to Action We kindly request your consideration to support Ntshole Foundation with a donation of 60 laptops to strengthen and expand our Coding and Robotics Program. Your contribution will directly empower learners to gain vital digital, coding, and AI skills—skills that will open doors to brighter futures. We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to meet with you or host you at our offices to share more about the program, its impact, and how your support can help us reach even more learners. Please let us know a convenient time for a follow-up meeting or school visit, as we would be delighted to showcase the work being done on the ground. Together, we can bridge the digital divide and ensure every child can thrive in a technology-driven world.
