Motivation:

Hi, my name is Ievan Koopman from Graafwater, Western Cape. I’m currently developing a mobile app called MoveMzanzi, designed to help both passengers and taxi drivers. The app aims to make bookings easier and more transparent for passengers, while giving drivers better control over the bookings they receive. At this stage, I’m building the prototype entirely on my mobile device, which makes progress slow and challenging. Having a basic or entry-level laptop would greatly help me complete the prototype and prepare the app for a pilot with local taxi drivers. I’m committed to this project and believe it can make a real difference in my community by improving efficiency, transparency, and safety in long-distance taxi travel.
