Motivation:

Hi, My daugther Levene is in a special needs school in Pretoria. She is taught herself how to communicate with others using apps that translate speaking English or Afrikaans into text message. She is also fond of maths and teach herself to read small sentences on a time, she have so much potential and her teacher told me that she is the strongest in the class, academically, this made my heart very proud. This is her 10th year at the same school and she is very fond of learning, new technology is forsure a great help for children like her, who don't learn the normal way, she always use my phone to access these apps and beyond this she keeps me in the loop with weather predictions, the news and loadshedding schudeles, for me it is just so amazing how she learnt herself so many things from using the technology that she have access to, taking it very seriously. She can express herself so well, something that she have been struggling with for a long time. I need her to feel a sence of belonging and to intergrate with others. I had to stop working 2 years ago with an injury to my back and can not afford to buy her, her own gadget. I think every child in South Africa needs a gadget in the era we are living in, one can use it for many good.
