Motivation:

I am a rape survivor. I have written a book about my ordeal, the title of the book is; My father took away my Innocence Purified and Sanctified at last. The aim of writing the book was to inspire other victims of rape. After coming out, many people, especially young girls opened up to me and we shared a lot about our different experiences. I have since decided to register an NPO to assist these young girls in my community further. The name of my organisation is Rise Black Girl Child Foundation. My community is filled to the brim with young girls who are sexually abused in their homes. Many of these girls are on their way to matric or already are. They have been asking for my assistance in helping them apply in universities, but I do not have a laptop and printer because I cannot afford these at the moment. A laptop and printer would assist me and these learners a lot in this regard. I want them to be empowered and for them to be closer to their dreams.
